What inspires me? Food! Everything about it. The way it smells, looks, tastes, and more than anything else, how it can bring people together. I have 3 beautiful children and a husband who are my biggest fans. I hope I am instilling in them the love for food, creating new dishes and working with new flavors that I have.

One of my favorite things to do is spend a day at the farmer's market. I get excited when I see all of the freshness there is to offer. The food that is available and what I can do with it once I get it home, I feel like a child in a candy store. That is where most of my "creating" takes place.

What is my style? Simple yet elegant. It's the difference between taking a simply roasted chicken, and adding that little something that brings out those flavors even more.

What motivates me? The season and what it has to offer. The occasion whether large, small, elegant or simple, and the people I am cooking for.
